Named for Bathsheba, whose story begins with the gaze of a king, the dress draws from the biblical tension between temptation, power, and consequence. Sheer mesh reveals the body while hardware introduces restraint—a contradiction between vulnerability and authority.
Bathsheba is not simply a story of being desired, but of what happens when desire mistakes witnessing for ownership. The silhouette becomes a meditation on autonomy: a body may be revealed, but it remains sovereign; it may inspire longing, but it cannot be possessed.
